After a two-years-break, gurD are back on the track!
With their new bass-player Franky, they recorded a new album now, containing fast full-metal-bashers like “Razorblade”, “A New War” or “Obey”! At V.O. and Franky’s studio Little Creek, they had the advantage of taking all the time it needed to work on this piece of excellent music.
Besides bone crushers like the already mentioned, this album features those heavy grooving mid-tempo-songs, gurD are famous for. “Older But Wiser”, “Strive” or “Can’t Take Back” are a very good proof for what they took over from the past yet to mix with their new, more bay-area-based sound. For the first time ever, gurD recorded two real chart breaking bombers: “May Day” and “Believe In Nothing”.
It was obvious that the audience very much liked these catchy (but
without any doubt HEAVY) tunes when the guys recently played them live. This new record won’t prove you wrong: gurD are back with all their groove, heaviness and blood rushing intensity!
