B.A.C.K. |
New fans can start
here!
One of the leading mid-eighties thrash metal acts Artillery
are back. Their comeback album displays ten tracks of raw
genuine mid-eighties power that picks up exactly where Artillery
left over a decade ago. Listening to B.A.C.K it's not at all
hard to imagine why Artillery gained such widespread recognition.
Flemming Rønsdorfs characteristic vocals combined
with the skilled guitar and bass performances by the Stützer
brothers is what make up the very soul of Artillery. If you
wanna know where bands like The Haunted and At The Gates got
their inspiration from you gotta go get B.A.C.K. right now.

IRONLUNG
CHASING SALVATION |
Ironlung consists of
members of the original line-up of the band Social Disease,
busting out of the Long Island NY hardcore scene back in 1986.
It was a blistery winter night in 1996 when Josh Bahron (also
in Suffocation, Autopsy), Steve Seigerman (also in Welt) and
Frank Maggio encountered an inebriated former Social Disease
vocalist Mr. Bush (also ex-Welt) in a notorius Manhattan strip
club to tell him about the new band, and that they were jamming
again. The rest is history, and Ironlung's splendid 8-track
retro metal/rock album Chasing Salvation is part of that history. |

Intercooler displays a great variety of
very catchy songs. According to guitarist, Tue Madsen, the

Instead Grope have resurrected as an outfit who's main purpose
is to make good catchy tunes and have fun doing so. Said
to be the comfy armchair in today's heavy metal music. Mixed

HARDCORE |
Originally, the new album was scheduled
for a late 2000/early 2001 release. However, massive bass
& drum difficulties forced them to drop touring and
songwriting and instead focus on auditioning bass and drum
candidates. But the wait was worthwile: With new bass player,
Snik1, and new drummer, Snick2, the unit became stronger
than ever. Hardcore was Barcode's last release under the

In the early

MY LIFE, MY RULES |
The
songs on My Life My Rules are a constant high level of forward

but they attack real problems with an anger that takes you
